Educational Qualification
- Appearing for Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination (result awaited).
- Passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination.
- Diploma holder.
- Pursuing or completed higher education in any stream, including Finance , Mathematics , Statistics , Econometrics Engineering & Management
- A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or Company Secretary (CS).
English Requirement
- Candidates should have studied English as a subject at the 10+2 (or equivalent) level.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: No minimum age prescribed.
- Maximum Age: No upper age limit .
Nationality
- Indian candidates are eligible to appear.
Validity of ACET Result
- The ACET result is valid for 3 years from the date of declaration for obtaining Student Membership of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).
Alteative (Non-ACET) Admission Route
- The IAI also permits direct student membership without ACET for candidates meeting specified qualifications, such as:
- Fully qualified CA, CMA, or CS
- MBA (Finance) with at least 60%
- IIM graduates
- Certain Actuarial Science, Engineering, and Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) qualifications
- Candidates who have passed specified papers of recognized inte
- ational actuarial bodies.
